About Us
Who are we?
We are a community choir based in Edinburgh, bringing together people with different levels of singing and choir experience. Some of us have sung in choirs for years, while others joined with very little experience. There’s no audition, and you don’t need to arrive as an advanced singer.
What matters is that we work on the music together. Rehearsals are a chance to develop your voice, learn your part, listen to each other and gradually build towards performances throughout the year.
The social side of the choir is just as important to us. We don’t simply turn up, sing and go home: we chat, spend time together after rehearsals and concerts, and friendships grow naturally around the music.
We want the choir to feel both musically rewarding and genuinely enjoyable to be part of.

Meet our conductor
Aleksandra Porsin
Alexandra trained in the Russian singing tradition and has been conducting choirs for over 7 years. She was awarded the UK Global Talent visa in recognition of her work in music.
What she loves most, though, is bringing people together around music. In rehearsals, she helps the choir develop both individually and as an ensemble, while keeping the process supportive, focused and enjoyable.

Our concerts are open to everyone, with a symbolic donation on the door. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a fun, uplifting experience together.
